Who we are?

The company Novatex, a. s. is a wholesale company that is engaged in the import and sale of the textile in the Czech and Slovak Republic. The company was founded in 1991 and nowadays it is number one in the market in the mentioned comodity.

Our customers

Currently, the company has about 700 active customers in the Czech Republic and approximately 400 clients in the Slovak Republic. The structure of the clientele is very diverse - the company cooperates with either several biggest producers of ready-made clothing in our country and in Slovakia (for example Otavan Třeboň, Makyta Púchov, etc.), and with bigger, medium and small sewing workshops. The important part of our clientele is represented by tailor's shops and the last but not the least group of our customers is formed by retail outlets with textile.

Most producers of ready-made clothing are served in the way of regular contracting visits. The customers book orders on the basis of the pattern-books, which are available at all sales representatives. We do our best to ensure that our customers are able to assess and order on the base of the pattern-books.

The other way is the direct sale "from the car"- this way is used mainly by retail outlets, sewing workshops, and also by tailor's shops.

The ability to serve such a diversified basis of clientele, and also varied forms of service can be considered as one of the substantial competitive advantages. Obviously, a very important role plays, due to the commodity, which is influenced by stylishness and trends, to provide as shrewd and interesting selection of the materials for every season and collection as possible. The last but not the least important role is played by the exact timing of the supplies in compliance with the requirements of the market.

About products...

Generally speaking, the range of products is orientated towards the materials made from synthetic materials that are used mostly for ladies' clothing, mainly for light and medium weighty ready-made clothing. In the range of products also the materials for gentlemen's clothing are represented. The company is engaged in fabrics and knits - plain-coloured, colourfully-woven, and print. The goods mostly comes from the countries in the Far East - Taiwan, Corea, Indonesia, China, Thailand, etc. One part of the range of products is also the complete offer of the stiffening materials of the trade mark Kufner.

Materials for ready-made clothes

• gentlemen's clothing - materials that are used for suits and leisure time clothing
  composition: polyester, polyamide, Viscose, Cotton, Flax and various mixtures of the materials mentioned above
• ladies' clothing - materials that are used for blouses halenkovina, prints, light, medium and weighty kostýmkovou materials used for woman's suits, knitted fabrics, materials used for leisure time, dress clothes, coating material, polar fleece

Technical materials:

• sport clothes (winter jackets, snow suit , outdoor clothing)
• working clothes (protective jackets, coats, regulation protective clothes)

Utility Qualities:

• watertightness - they are neither permeable, nor become damp, "aqua effect" is made , drops of the water pour down the material
• wind-proofness - the material protects the body from the gusts of the wind
• paraprodyšnost - the outlet of the damp from the body through the material, it protect from the excessive sweating of the user

Technical parametres

• the materials have these basic qualities, which are tested in compliance with the norm EN 471 (EU norm that is identical with EN ČSN - Czech norm)
• the technical parametres express the final value of each of the utility qualities and they are important for emphasizing the technical quality of the material.Today everybody asks about the height of the water column that indicates the watertightness, etc.
• the results of the technical parametres are consequently related to the ways of the maintenance of the material, i.e. in what temperature the material can be ironed, washed, dry cleaned, or perhaps dried.
• every material document has to include the composition of the fabric (for example 100 PES), the way of the finish that protects the utility qualities (for example applying laminating PUR), the total weight, the weight of the finish and the consequent parametres of the utility qualities and the symbols of the maintenance.

The Methods of the Finish of the Materials

• a) nánosování - is applying of the liquid of the polyuretan (PUR or PU) on the fabric
• b) laminating- is melting or sticking of the polyuretan film on the fabric

ad a) This method provides such qualities of the material whose total values are for normal use and ,consequently, the price of the material is lower than the price in the second method. It is possible to use material b even in the extreme conditions. The materials Rivetex that we have on stock are all finished with the use of the method b. It is possible to use method a if an order is made.
